Novatik NATURA Inauguration | Romania's first production line for stone chip coated metal roof tiles.
In October, the company opened its first production line for stone chip coated metal roof tiles in Romania: Novatik NATURA. In the three years since launching the Novatik NATURA brand, the company has made significant strides and invested in high-performance production equipment. The new generation of Novatik NATURA profiles benefits from improved anti-corrosion protection. The multiface® protection layer represents a high-performance treatment applied to steel, being a multifunctional sealant almost invisible when applied to hot-dip galvanized steel strips (ZnMg).
October – the company launches a new profile: Novatik METAL KOLAJ. The KOLAJ profile is defined as the product benefitting from the most recent Novatik innovations, which, under the appearance of a collage of special qualities and characteristics, accounts for a premium design product, setting a new quality standard on the European roof covering market.
The Novatik METAL KOLAJ roof comes as a new option for architects and designers, manifestly outlining the new roof trends and bringing a strong addition particularly for the new constructions, targeting the minimalist style of modern projects.
June - Because we want to prioritize our customers need, we are constantly working on expanding our product range and portfolio consolidation. That’s why we decided to make an upgrade to our iconic profile: Novatik METAL SLATE. We redesigned our profile and the new version is spectacular. This new improved SLATE can be installed in 2 distinct ways, depending on the architectural style.
Also, the company launches a new profile in our stone chip coated metal tiles range: Novatik NATURA STONE. We designed Novatik NATURA STONE profile to recreate the unique image of the old traditional stone roofs. Starting with June 2020 we introduce to Novatik METAL range: SLATE and WOOD High Coat profiles. Also for the METAL range we introduced a new cover, Frost, available for all profiles. Technical information of Frost cover: Steel with protective coating of Zn 275 g/sqm and Polyurethan min. 60 microns with Epoxid min. 7 μm on the back side of the tile, 20 years aesthetic warranty and 40 years technical warranty.
In August, Final Distribution changes its name to NOVATIK S.R.L. as part of our marketing and rebranding strategy. This decision coincides with our 15th anniversary of activity in the roofing market in Romania and 8 years since launching our own brand, NOVATIK. We decide this is the moment to begin a new chapter in our company`s history, with the aim of making NOVATIK the strongest brand on the premium roofing market in Romania.
15 years of experience in creating a market and developing a demand for modular, stone chip coated roofing has given us the confidence and knowledge needed to develop and manufacture our own product. In September the company launches Novatik NATURA – our new, stone chip coated, metal roof tiles.
In January, NOVATIK becomes the sponsor of the women’s handball team, CSM Bucharest. Performance is the word that best defines CSM Bucharest, the partnership evolving as a natural result of common synergies and values. Determination and ability propelled Final Distribution into the coated, pressed metal roofing business and these attributes enable it to maintain its position as a top performer in this industry.
During the priod 29th January – 2nd February , NOVATIK joined the BUDMA 2018 exhibitors in Poznan (Poland). BUDMA Construction and Architecture fair is one of the largest trade fair in Europe and probably the most important in the CEE. For 4 days the Novatik profiles – Classic, Slate, Wood and Click – were exhibited in the pavilion dedicated to roofing systems.
In February, the company launches Novatik SLATE, a new profile combining the special look of natural slate, but utilising robust, modern and lightweight construction materials. At the end of May, Final Distribution launches another new profile, Novatik WOOD, which preserves the natural beauty of a shingle roof, combined with all the advantages of a metal roof (increased corrosion resistance, strong, durable and lightweight).
Novatik CLICK, the standing seam roof system, launches in March - a popular modern profile that quickly reaches the top of the local sales market. The standing seam roof has a wide area of application, very well suited to modern and contemporary architecturural design, especially in Western Europe.
In April, Final Distribution launches a new product, Novatik AVANGARDE, the first post painted, metal tile manufactured in Romania.
In February NOVATIK joined the “ROOF & TIMBER 2014” (Dach und Holz) in Koln, Germany, the most important international exhibition for roofs from Europe.
In September 2013, the company is awarded “The best exporter of building materials of 2013” by the Business Construct Gala.
In June, a second line opens, beginning the production of Novatik tiles, the first pressed metal tiles in small panels to be manufactured in Romania. In the second half of 2012, first exports begin to Slovenia, France and Spain. The Novatik brand sells not only in Romania, but also in an increasing number of new territories. In September 2012, Final Distribution obtains ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification, thus proving our commitment to quality, to customer satisfaction, and to continuously improving our business.
In February, the first production line opens in Băicoi-Prahova. Final Distribution enters the production field with its own brand of gutters and downpipes - NOVATIK.
In the second half of the year, the company launches the NOVATIK brand and invests in high performance equipment for the production of gutters and downpipes.
Final Distribution becomes the sole distributor of GERARD stone chip coated metal roof tiles and DELTA roof membranes in Romania.
